MSD-oes it really help

Anybody here try an MSD ignition on their pathy?? I became interested when i saw another member had put it on there gen 2 pathy...so i though i would ask if anyone else tried it and what sort of changes were noticed?

You can't put them in our Pathy's.

They have an internal coil...its been much discussed on the AC board.

 

A quick search on their board will yield lots of results...like this one.

It is possible, but not very practical. It's an awful lot of work for not that much gain.

 

You can do it if you bypass the internal coil and use an MSD external coil.

I read about this On the MSD tech foums this topic has been discussed(and I seen it done somwhere else).

the connection beween the inernal coil and internal transisor must be separated and 4 msd wires will be soldered inside.

It is possible.
