It is possible, but not very practical. It's an awful lot of work for not that much gain.

 

You can do it if you bypass the internal coil and use an MSD external coil.

for future searchers;

I read about this On the MSD tech foums this topic has been discussed(and I seen it done somwhere else).

the connection beween the inernal coil and internal transisor must be separated and 4 msd wires will be soldered inside.

It is possible.
