solid snake
How's it going everyone?! I have a few problems that I need help with 1) I just noticed that when I had my a/c on and going about 40-60 mph I hear a squeal coming from the engine for about 5 seconds, then goes away. May be the compressor, not sure. 2) I mounted 265/70/16 tires, changed the brake pads, and cranked the torision bars, I started to notice that when I hit the brake, it sort of pumps, like jumping on my foot, it does brake, but I also started to see that brake fluid covers the front passenger side of where the torsion bar connects to. 3) When I turn at very low speed,(5 mph or less), I hear a clicking noise coming from the front driver side. Any info regarding these problems will help me out a lot.
Animal
My guesses: #1 - most likely the belt needs adjusting or replacing, maybe idler pully bearings starting to dry out (it is sealed so would need to be replaced). #2 - bad brake line or bleeder valve not fully closed. #3 - if this is with the wheel turned to the full extent (right or left), this could be the "normal" noise caused by the sterring stops when the plastic caps wear or fall off. A little grease on the stops will quiet it - for a while.
88pathoffroad
Holy crap man, your vehicle is leaking brake fluid and you're still driving it?!?? I'd get that fixed first. Just a suggestion.
