I've been doing some searching and have boiled it down to this. What year range of the Quest/Villager Minivans or Ford Taurus yield a electric fan replacement for our pathys? Is it the same 93-95 for the Nissan/Mercury, as it is with the alternators? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jj big shoe Posted May 12, 2005 Share Posted May 12, 2005 (edited) I don't know about the Quest fan, but the Taurus fan is from the 3.8 litre V6. It should have nine blades and a two speed motor like this: Ebay Taurus fan pic The 3.0 litre fan only has six blades. Try to get both sides of the wiring connector as well. Here's a write-up of a Toyota install and another one in a Mustang. The Mustang one says they upgraded the alt. because of the load the new fan will put on the electical system so be careful.
