TeachermanW
I apologize up front because I don’t know anything. I had my 2001 R50 SE 4WD lifted 2.5” with spacers at a tire shop. Now they’re telling me they can’t find rear shocks for it. Can that be right?? I’ve looked through the forums and I don’t know enough to know what I’m reading. The truck belonged to my brother in law and he was going to trick it out before he died last year. He was a car guy. I’m not. Wife and I are fixing it up to honor his memory. Any help is really appreciated!
XPLORx4
Bilstein 33-185552 can be adapted to work with a 2.5" lift.
TeachermanW
Thank you! Is there a trick to it? Because the place I brought it to doesn’t know how to do it. They got Bilstein shocks, measured them, and said they wouldn’t work
TeachermanW
A few YouTube videos later I think I've figured it out. I'm going to try and install the shocks myself. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction!
