Josh_Path2346
I cant seem to find new weather molding for the 2 big side windows on the first gen Pathfinders. Amazon, Nissan Parts Deal, eBay produced no results, so Im thinking about pulling it out and using flex seal to fill the gaps? Anyone point me towards a solution?
FirstGenFreak
The early windscreen upper mould is the same profile, Not quite long enough so you have to splice it. Better than trying to fit something else in there. 86-97 NISSAN NAVARA D21 HARDBODY FRONT TOP WINDSHIELD WEATHERSTRIP RUBBER SEAL | eBay
Neut_1stGenPathy
@Josh_Path2346 Did you replace the molding? What did you use and how did you tackle the curved corner? @FirstGenFreak Thanks. I intend to use windscreen upper molding you suggested. Would it go around the curved corner aesthetically and not leak? What would you recommend for that section if the original molding is missing? The mold will take the corner fine, the mold is actually only a filler and does not provide the seal. You can coat the gap with some black urethane sealant (windscreen sealant or sikaflex) which will prevent warter ingress and keep the mold in place.
