colinnwn
I screwed up really bad trying to install my electric brake controller. It had been a long time but I have removed the AC vent stack before. I forgot how I did it. This time when I tried to do it. I shattered it into a bunch of pieces. This is going to be a really expensive mistake. Sjackson2
Just get a new one from a JY. Won’t cost you much. I think I might have seen a guy on one of the Facebook groups with two of these for sale? I’ll see if I can find it
colinnwn
If you find one that would be great. I've always had bad luck with pricing for interior parts at junk yards, especially if they figure out the manufacturer is no longer even selling them. QuasarDecimari
No luck with a good plastic epoxy? I’ve done something similar. Epoxied it together, used a filler primer on it, gently sanded it smooth and painted it. More time consuming than getting a new one, I suppose, but can be cheaper. QuasarDecimari
Oh, I didn’t notice that the vent flaps themselves were also there, my apologies. That’d be a bit more difficult.
Slartibartfast
I feel your pain, I broke both end vents on my dash a while ago and new ones are at least $60/each. Hoping to get lucky at the wreckers.
colinnwn
I found one in great condition from an Ebay wrecker for $50 delivered. Totally worth not spending the time tromping around in a wrecker yard, that would have probably charged me the same anyway. Thanks.
