Mrelcocko
I know there's a write up on this already. It didn't work for my 97 Quey, but this did.I removed the fog light relay and I took pin #2 out completely and soldered a wire to the same post inside. I thin got a relay from radio shack and soldered a wire to pin #30 on the underside of the radio shack relay. That way I didn't have to open it up. I decided to use the heater/meter relay for my power. Just insert the factory relay back in it's slot along with the radio shack relay in the heater/mirror slot. Now you can work your fog lights whenever you want. (Note) cut out a slot on the cover of the factory relay for the wire to go through Sent from my Z836BL using Tapatalk
mjotrainbrain
Since I don't have fog lights anymore due to my bumper, I plan to use that wiring for some LED pods, so this is super useful!
onespiritbrain
Neato! My fogs don't work as of the first time I sank it in deep water just days after I got her... when I finally get around to fixing whatever I broke I am going to do this. Mrelcocko
There's other post on net but not for a 97 Quey. I tried to get my power from the a/c relay like the other post said but couldn't get it to work so I went for the Heater/mirror relay for power and it worked. I'm glad this helps. mjotrainbrain
Mine's a 2002 so it's not really the same at all (totally different engine), but I hadn't even considered this as a possibility so thanks!
