Tiny hands for a knock sensor

Just curious....has anyone tried pulling the distributor on a R50 and reaching in to get at the knock sensor?

Seems like if you have a tiny handed helper it would work.

Sensor relocation

Boom! My mind was blown!

I had this thought that if I removed the hood completely I could maneuver in between the engine and firewall and do the same. This may be better

I pulled my transmission for a rebuild and was able to reach up and break off the sensor pretty easily. I was going to try and remove the mount bolt but it was too much of a pain to reach.
