I'm new to the forum, but having read quite a bit about getting only 16 ltr per 100 k, I started to see how to improve on this. After adding 2 easy add ons I'm now get 11.879 ltr per 100k. I'll post photos soon

My r50 is petrol, and is standard except for an air deflector in to the in take and a small air intake in to the air filter box

That is better than what I get. 16l per 100 kilometers is roughtly equal to 14.9mpg for us state side folks. I average about 12.5 mpg/18.5 l per 100 k.

 

I have manual hubs, but do have a 2" lift and 31" tires.

Next stage is twin 2/12 in exhaust, should end up around 10ltr per 100 k

I'm lifted and get right at 14 in winter. I idle more. In summer I do mid 15's occasional 16. Almost regret the 32's until I need them.

My 2001 SE 5 speed with manual hubs averages 19 mpg and I've gotten as high as 22 mpg bombing across New Mexico with a bit of a tailwind.

I was getting between 18 & 22 towing a 1250kg van with air on and in summer. I just did 310 k last 90k with air & towing 850k 310 knot 36.76 Ltrs with air on

I was getting about 13l/100 km before I lifted. No idea yet about post lift because I haven't driven it much. Smiles per gallon are what matters anyways!

Some times I get 32km gallon on the road or highway... At the city with terrible traffic jam I get 19km gallon ...
