84gl Posted July 5, 2016 Share Posted July 5, 2016 New member long time lurker I have had my pathfinder for 4years done the timing belt water pump fuel injectors new hoses and rad. But over the past few months it has started running passed half way when running at low speed idling around the farm low speed towing etc. checked all the usual things flushed coolant cleaned the rad Fins trans cooler it's still doing it by the way it runs cool a highway speeds in less I am towing something then it runs just above halfway pulling a 5x10foot trailer empty or loaded Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

84gl Posted July 11, 2016 Author Share Posted July 11, 2016 (edited) I think I have found the problem this weekend the last person that owned it mined you we have had it for almost five years had jb welded the thermotasta housing aka a stud in a stripped and cracked bolt hole so I guess I will be pulling the intake to fix Edited July 11, 2016 by 84gl Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
