captainsiezure
Hello, I'm new on here, but I just bought a 96 pathfinder se. looking for an upgrade to tires. I'm getting a 2 inch lift, what tires are best for stock 15 inch rims? looking at 31x 10.5 is that a good size? I have a friend selling his 275s with 17s. are those 2 big? Let me know what will work. much appreciated.
XPLORx4
If you're going to use it off-road, I would avoid 17's. There's not as much rubber between the wheel and the road to absorb bumps when aired-down, and the wheels will be more susceptible to damage. On stock wheels, 31x10.50R15 will fit on both stock height and lifted. If you are planning to lift it and want to fit larger tires at some point later (such as 32x11.50R15 or 265/75R16), consider replacing the wheels with 15x8 or 16x8.
