Guest md80man
I am looking for 31/10.50 tires for my 92 SE. Does anybody have some insight to the better choice for my driving? 95% on the road mostly highway, but I only drive 5000-6000 miles a year In western PA I will encounter some snow and wet rutted terrain but I do not go into real deep mud. what is the best balance between low noise and good traction tires? I hear General grabber AP is quiet and pretty good off-road but it wears fast I hear Bridgestone A/T Revo is good, but is it good enough to offset the high price? I have always liked BFG A/T's but I have not used them for a long time are they still a good choice? Thank you in advance.

TrailChaser
Go with the BFG's that's gonna be your best bet for price vs. quality.... If in dought head on over to tirerack.com and do their tire conparison feature... I just bought the BFG M/T's and they are pretty quiet compared to some mud tires I've heard. PS General is crap... You'll get what you pay for. Edited March 9, 2005 by TrailChaser

96pfinderSE
With the trxus sts you can only get them in 31x11.50 not 10.50. Still heard some good words about them though. give em a shot if not go with the bfgs
DJ Dank
I don't regret a single $$$ paid on my Revos. My tip for everyone is to go to Costco if you want the revos. They have the best price always. Better than tirerack and you don't have to pay for shipping if Costco has to special order them.
