I have a 93 Pathfinder and my Mom has a 92, are the starters interchangeable? Due to my ex's shoddy wiring job (literally pieced together with more than enough wires and electrical tape) the solenoid is starting to burn out. Due to several (pricey) things going wrong with Mom's she has decided to scrap it, so I figured that since the parts I need are still good on hers, maybe I can just take them off and fix mine. Now as far as I know there were no major changes to the starter between 92 & 93, so it should theoretically be possible to swap parts out. She said I'm more than welcome to any parts off hers that can be used on mine.

'93 marked a change to certain things, and '94-95 brought the round dash, but I do t recall major differences mechanically.
