Energy Suspension bushing sleeves too long?

So I bought part number 7.3102R from ES and the sleeves are longer than the factory ones. I go to install them and am unable to tighten them down to the control arm because they stick out a smidge on either side of the bushings. Is this normal? How do I fix this? Thanks!

They are. Just cut them down to fit.

Just match the length to that of the bushing or just slightly smaller and you will be golden.

I can't believe this is still an issue. I had to do this on the first set I installed years ago, and again last year. I gave up and bought the super lift UCAs where the bushings fit properly the first time with no modifications.

Mine fit with a little work but work great. I think the price alone is worth buying the energy suspension bushings.

Yes adamzan, it seems like they could cut them at the factory to proper size. A hacksaw and a vice worked tho haha! I will look into the brand you mentioned for next time tho!
