I have a 89 4x4 v6. First thing in the morning i can walk out and start it up with no problem. After i drive it to work and and let it set for abour six hours starting becomes an issue. After trying for ten mins or so it will start but seem flooded and you have to pump the gas. you can shut it right back down turn the key and it starts back up. its getting plenty of fuel into the tbi. Any help would be greatly apperciated.

Hmm. Seems like a warm start issue, but after six hours, I imagine it's mostly cooled, even in Florida. Wouldn't hurt to clean the MAF and check the vacuum lines, but past that, my knowledge of the TBI is pretty limited. This might help though: :clickdalink:
