ebayfish
Since I've put my taller/heavier tires, my pathy stops fine, but doesn't stop quickly enough in a panicked situation. Are there any brands or materials of pads that seem to do the best for our trucks? I don't really want to change calipers out, upgraded rotors would be an option if not overly expensive too. I gave drum rears.
daczone
sounds like fade, drilled vented rotors would probably help. I put a some on my Ford at all 4 corners when I did a lift and bigger tires and it seemed to help. I also went with the ceramic pads. (my ford had 4 wheel disc brakes). adamzan
Semi metallic seem to work the best for me. I have rear disc though. Maybe try some hawk hps pads? I hear they're great.
daczone
Did my brakes yesterday and by far the EASIEST brake job I have ever done! Rear disc's didn't require any turning the pistons to get them to retract they just went right back in with a C-Clamp. Dual piston front calipers was a nice surprise.
