I have a 2002 SE Pathfinder and my automatic shifter doesn´t engange when I put it in drive in the mornings,

 

Can anybody tell me why and how can I fix it?

If not at all then need a transmission shop to diagnostic it. Probably a solenoid

thanks man, I´ll do that. I will like to have an Idea of what the problem is so the technition will not...... chargeme for what is OK.

Ok so if you let it warm up it will function normal? Again probably a solenoid. Mine will do that in the morning when cold. Takes either a few to warm truck up or slow to engage then is fine rest of the day
