Hi

Just picked up a nice 2000 4x4 pathy that is in need of tires. I thought I might just upgrade to newer take offs from a 2010 pathfinder. Does anyone have any pics of R 50's with newer oems?

thanks

I'd just get pro comp rims and a pair of bfgoodrich all terrains, the pro comps will help its image a lot, as far as having the OEM rims on oppose to the pro comps.

All depends on what look is he going for if he wants a off road look sure go with the pro comps but if he wants a more street/non offroad look the stock newer ones may look better

Try and look into period frontier and Xterra rims. Many toyota rims will also work if you're looking into factory quality. Otherwise it seems the cragar or summit D windows are pretty popular around here.

Toyota rim will work but their center bore is bigger by 8mm.

This is fine if you can pick up hub centric rings but I don't like doing that because there is a risk for failure the more parts you introduce.

Without hub centric rings, your rims will be lug centric which is just as worse if you do offroading

Titan wheels I think work too. Dustin is running some awesome 18X8's that came on like an 08' titan, I want to switch to those but duratracs don't come in a 31X11ish tire size for an 18, all 33's and up.

The center bore on titan wheels is smaller (believe it or not), they can and certainly have been used on hardbodys, wd21s and r50s, but the center must get bored out a bit before they'll fit. Some have had a machine shop do it to retain a hub centric fit, but plenty have done their own with a dremel with no ill effects. Just be sure to do it from the backside and don't go all the way through otherwise you'll lose the ability to retain the center cap.
