aantilla09
My 87 pathfinder 3.0 v6 sounds like it might die once it is warm and idle but it doesn't die. It has new hoses and air cleaner, crankshaft sensor, and throttle position sensor. It runs great besides this I just think it should sound a lot smoother than it does. Changed oil and filter and flushed radiator also. I just got it about a month ago and I'm doing all the work myself so Im not that familiar with these vehicles. any suggestions would be great. thanks

Slartibartfast
General tuneup, plugs/cap/rotor/wires? If that doesn't do it (or you've already done it), start checking sensors and their connectors. Do you know when the timing belt was done last?
