Beatup96
I see in some posts that there are other fishermen here , where are the pics ? I'll start the ball rolling..... Precise1
That sea bass is a beauty, almost a shame to keep, and that second picture is better than most so with DSLs. Don't take the 'keep' comment the wrong way, I haven't been fishing in 20 years but I was never 'catch and release'. I was 'catch and eat' with a side of 'stop catching when you have enough'. I don't really get the whole 'I like to torture fish and set them free' part... With all those flounder and perch, if you were closer, we'd be having a lot of smoked fish! Sorry, no pictures to share as the few I have are all film (old guy here) and the last really good ones were all down in Mexico, sans camera. Besides, they had holes in them due to the lack of rod and use of Hawaiian Sling. Yeah, I used to go down and chase the little bastages... Looks like they still make the 6' model I have next to me! That helped me nail a 2.5' yellowtail off of lands end in Cabo San Lucas. Ok, that should have bored everyone sufficiently, on with the fish pron... nunya
I should start taking pictures... Of course I should probably make it easier and have someone else with me to take them too...

Beatup96
I've always wanted to try spear fishing , the water up here is a little murky though , not much visibility most of the time . People with bigger stones than I do it though , mainly for Stripers and Tog . I wished I'd had a camera 2 weeks back when a GIANT Leatherback Turtle surfaced about 20' off our stern , blew out some stale air , took 4-5 fresh gulps and dove . Thing had to weigh 800+ pounds , biggest living animal I've ever seen . Go figure that every time something really cool presents itself for a photo-op I've left the camera at home . Porpoise , Mola-Mola , seals , otters , mink , they all know when I'm camera-less..... More fish porn , of the freshwater variety this time.... CT has an under rated Crappie fishery... Some good Walleye if you put your time in... Big White Cat , should have weighed it... Trout fishing is so-so , but if you're a fly fisherman the Farmington River is a "must hit" should you travel here... My biggest fish on 2lb. test to date , caught on a Crappie jig... Don't even get me going on duck hunting pics......
