Just bought at 1989 2 door Pathfinder 4x4 3.0 5 speed as a project. Runs and drives great but has no brakes and some body issues. First thing I am going to do is make it roadworthy, then decide where to go from there. Here are a couple pics of how she looks now.

Good side..

Bad side...

Need a few things I can find on the usual online stores so I will be posting some WTB threads soon.

Thanks for looking!

Awesome find! I always liked the 2-door Pathy's. Looks like all your glass is good.

Thanks, the two door is what made me decide to go ahead and get it. I have a '96 Grand Cherokee that I love, but wanted a two door to start playing with. All my glass is good, but some of the rubber molding around it has shrunk. Hope to find some aftermarket or one in a jy that will have what I need...although finding anything from 1989 in a jy around here will be hard.

Welcome to the forum! First things I'd be fixing would be new side mirror, new right hand front fender.

Thanks, Yeah need a fender for sure. My first car was a 1983 Ford Escort and back then a passenger side mirror was an option...lol. I will get around to it, unfortunately whoever removed it also cut the wires to it. Going to have to see if it is before or after the power plug. May just go with manual mirrors if so.

Welcome to NPORA!

Be sure to check under the back seat and the rear frame rails from there on back as well. Those are usually the trouble rust areas, unfortunately...

Thanks!

When we had it on the trailer I looked over it really good. I was surprised that other than some surface rust, everything was solid. The floor is perfect so I will probably just sand the frame down and spray it with bed liner.

Always great to see another 2-door... :)

Best of luck on the project, and I'm sure you'll find whatever information you need on these boards. The depth of knowledge (and other stuff) is amazing.
