Slartibartfast Posted July 1, 2014 Share Posted July 1, 2014 That is an odd one. My dad's '03 burned oil but we never found it on the window. Check engine/trans fluid levels, maybe check the transfer case fluid, rear end, one of them must be leaking. A moving vehicle gets a sort of vortex behind it which could deposit the oil on the back. It turned out to be a power steering leak that was spraying the undercarriage as well as misting up the back window. Make sure to check that fluid as well.
