Posted June 23, 2014 Share Posted June 23, 2014 i just changed my water pump which took me a while to do everything seemed to go okay but when i put everything back together and started it up,it started right up but it has a knocking sound and it idle real low when i gas it it takes about 2 or 3 sec to respond with either reving up or dam near going dead after that . i thought i put the timing belt back like it was could it be that i didn't . can somebody please help me Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Precise1 Posted June 23, 2014 Share Posted June 23, 2014 It is not unusual for the cam gears to rotate slightly when released, maybe that is what happened and you didn't notice.
