PrestonBurns
Already got an aftermarker muffler on. What can I do under the hood that gives my pathfinder a deep exhaust tone?
Karmann
High flow cats, CAI (intake noise only), and maybe a different muffler? There's not much proven tech for this.
gv280z
headers, larger diameter exhaust but I wouldn't go over 2.5 and I personally wouldn't even go that large, single chamber flowmaster, delete the resonator, stage 2 cams.

Tad
Just don't drive past my house:) Agreed! One of the things I really like about the Q is that after 5-6 hours on the interstate I am not deaf like I am in the jeep.
thorpe991
On mine i have 2in into the muffler no res and the 2.75 out of muffle for tip and combined with my cai it kinda sounds like a decent sound v6 car not loud at ifle but you get on it and it grumbels Sent from my LG-LS840 using Tapatalk

The only trucks like ours I have seen with a real rumble to them are not street legal. On the 3.3L the cats alone drown out a lot of the noise before it ever gets to the baffles in the muffler. high flow cats and eleting the resonator will give you some more 'vrooom' but IMHO that can be a lot of $$ for a small gain.
