TutorN1
Like the title says my dash lights just quit over the weekend. I got out to open a gate, and were fine. When I got back in EVERYTHING was out, even my head unit. Radio still works, & will play CDs, but doesn't show anything. I've checked fuses, & all show good. I'm open to suggestions. Thanks in advance.
devonianwalk
Double check the "tail light" fuse. That is usually the culprit fuse as the dash lights are tied into that circuit.

TutorN1
Cool, I'll check both this afternoon. Can that make the radio quit showing to? You can see a faint light on the head unit when it changes from CD, to FM. Other than that all the light in the head unit are gone to. I've got the Bose system in mine. It on its last leg anyways if it's fried.
GePa
uhm if the radio lights are out too. it must be the dimmer.
TutorN1
If the dimmer switch goes out will it go out? The switch is still set the same as always.
TutorN1
I've got a loose wire somewhere, I got in just now and the lights came on like normal. Weird!
GePa
I once had a loose contact with my dash lights, fixed them by changing the dash lights to led.... BUT the odd thing is that the radio display also went out. It's independant from the dash light.... The only thing in common they have is the dimmer. It think you should take a look at the dimmer. Alkorahil
^ Agreed. The rheostat may be failing when it gets too hot and going off and on. It maye also be a loose connection.
