Rear Fender Passenger side

Just a quick question. Is it easy to remove and how would I go about the removal?

The side, just wondering if it pops off. Had an idea for the tire rack install.

No the rear fender doesn't just "pop off' it's part of the whole body, your not referring to the flare are you?

The flares are easy enough (if you remove the wheel first). The fender itself isn't not going anywhere unless you're prepared to take a grinder to it.

I am going to do the tire rack mod. I was wondering if I could somehow move it and get in behind it to get the parts in better.

Ah, well, good thought. Sounds like you have to do it like tail light bulbs: by braille, from the cargo area.

 

You might try pulling the tail light on the hinge side out first, though. I don't know if you could reach in through the hole very well but at least you'd have some light in there.

I guess I'll just do it like the other who have done it. Hack the parts, till they fit.
