Stinky Vents

When i turn on the vents it reaks like old coolant. The levels are remaining steady, but when you turn the fan to 4 on full heat, it takes forever to warm up and it smells like the coolant reservoir. This began happening after a really cold night. Would a flush an fill be the remedy?

That's an indication that your heater core is leaking. Check your carpet under the dash on the passenger's side for wetness...

If its not the heating check all the hoses goin into the firewall and make sure there on tight. Ive had old ones that were loose and it shot a crap load of coolant out the vents. got the heating core checked everything seemed fine looked at the hose coolant was everywhere.

Definately check where 88 said for an dampness. You want to tackle this problem before its ready to die completely. When the core goes, it can be a horrible bieeotch. I had this in a Dodge Shadow where the core is in the driver's side dash. All at once while driving down the road, I had boiling coolant pour onto my feet and at the same time the windows fogged up from the heat. I had to slam on the brakes, then jump out on the side of the road and rip my shoes off. Not cool. Hot, actually.
