tucdatruck
today, I was driving my truck and while sitting at a stoplight, one of the 10 amp fuses blew (igntn2). My truck then proceeds to drive in only one gear (2nd, I believe). I then pull over at a gas station, thinking that I was out of gas. Turned out that the fuse must control that circuit. My question is have any of you all dealt with this problem before? Because the thing keeps blowing these fuses.
BigMike
you dont have anything leeching off the circuit hotwire? cause if you do its most likely pulling too many amps. or you might have a short, maybe some wire that has worn through the plastic? wheelmanLS1
If you have an aftermarket radio and you didn't go through the extra effort to cover any bare wires, like BigMike pointed out, you'll blow fuses fast. I blew the ignition fuse while installing my receiver. It wasn't a biggie, though.
GrimGreg
Had a wire get bare and ground for my fuel pump, kept blowing fuses till I found the wire though.
