Ive recently had a hard time getting out of my pathfinder due to the door handle not opening the door until the 5th or 12th pull. I think the cable is stretched, am I able to remove the door panel and tighten the cable or do I have to replace an entire assembly?

It's a steel rod that is connected with weird looking plastic clips I believe. If you take the panel off you'll see. My old truck was like that and it was some of the plastic parts had worn down. It was pretty cheap to fix.
