Well, that's what the owner's manual says in it. I bet if you ran it out of gas and then filled it back up it would take 21 gallons.

I've also heard 15.9 but thats out of Chiltons, so I wouldn't trust it. But if i fill up when my guage reads "E" it will take about 15. Then again I've put 16.5 in once... :confused:

I DID run out of gas not to long ago and I filled it up with 40 dollars (@1.89 a gallon)

 

21 x 1.89 = 39.69

 

I think it holds a tad bit more than 21.1. I could have sworn that 88' told me it was actually 21.7???

 

This was after I asked a buddy to bring me some gas.
