TShep704
not very mechanically inclined when it comes to automobiles... how bad would it be for me to change my own valve cover gaskets? im just worried about not putting it back together right and ending up with a ton of issues. AzZo
Not that hard ony thing I did not like is mine had phillips screw's and you don't want to strip those. If you can replace with allen head screws or just bolts and it will make life better next time you have to remove covers.Good luck if you decide to tackle this project.Remember nothing ventured nothing gained. Trogdor636
Valve covers are easy. Its all the crap you remove and have to put back together to get to the valve covers.
Slartibartfast
Take pictures as you go! Makes reassembly a whole lot easier if you know what it's supposed to look like. I usually take a picture of the bolt I pulled out next to the hole I pulled it from, so I know where it goes later.
devonianwalk
It really isn't that hard to do. In fact, I replaced my passenger side because it was leaking pretty bad but, I still have to replace the drivers side. I live in Rock Hill .. maybe we could get together and change both of yours and I can finally tackle my drivers side gasket. I'd be more than willing to help you out.
