ahardb0dy
May be picking up a set of AC gauges soon wanted to get opinions on which one's to buy. Harborfrieght has a set for around $54 with reviews saying they are fine for the DIYer but the knobs break easily. Advance auto parts sells a set by Interdynamics for about $89 that have fairly good reviews. And the AC forum I go to sells a set by Mastercool for $91 what do you guys/gals know? nunya
I'll look at what brand the gauge set at work is tomorow, though primarly I use our recovery machine.
JamesRich
I have both an R12 set and 134 set. Both snap on with liquid filled gauges. When the tool truck comes to your door once a week and sell you tools on credit it's hard to resist! James
ahardb0dy
I know that method, 90% of my tools are MAtCO and were bought and paid off on credit !
tmoore4512
I've got a few sets, yellow jacket and imperial brands. Just get used to reading r22 gauges and you can use ten on just about anything if you already have em. My yellow jackets have several gasses including 134 so its multi use! The sang QD's are what need to be quality. Those little boogers are like gold....
