Window stuck down, relay clickin

This happened about a month ago, and fixed itself after a few hours. But this time it's more persistent. My passenger window was all the way down yesterday, and when I tried to put it back up I hear a click sound coming from that door both when i press the up button, and also when I release it, but the window doesnt move. Same thing happens when I try the switch on that door, or the master switch on the driver door. All other windows work fine.

 

I have 2 questions here, what is my most likely culprit and how can I test it, and is there a way to manually roll up my window, cause it's supposed to rain tomorrow and I can only park outside

 

I'm not worried about taking off the door panel since I've done that before on other cars. But messing with power window stuff is new to me.

If the relay (the cliking sound) is opening and closing when you try either door switch....it is most likely the motor....

Thats a bummer, how can I test the motor to verify if that is the problem?

You can unplug the motor and test for power and ground at the plug to the motor.

Damn, no multimeter. Should I just go ahead and buy a new motor?

Went for a drive tonight and the window went right up for me and now works normally. So strange... maybe a power wire from the motor is loose?

Corrosion or gunk on some contacts somewhere?

I guess the only way to find out is to get in there and look.

If it happens again try hitting on the door pannel while holding the window switch in the up position. If it starts to go up you have a bad window Motor.
