Black power mirror to Chrome power mirror swap questions?

I have power mirrors on my hardbody and pathy but i want to swap my chrome ones on the hardbody to the pathy and the black ones onto the hardbody? I pulled the panel on the hardbody and was thinking there would be just a quick and easy connector but its wired straight into my harness. Not sure yet if my pathy is the same way? If so would it be ok if i just cut the wires and put some electrical connectors to make swapping them easier for the future? Kinda a stupid question but i wanted to see what you guys thought before i go cutting wires.

The plugs are deeper in the doors, not right at the mirror. Pull the panels and you will find the plugs.

Ok thanks I did pull the panel and it looked like it wired into the rest of the harness. I'll look harder and maybe trim some tape back.

the plugs are down near the speaker magnet. It's a pretty long pigtail off the mirror.

Hahahahaha ok ill look into it more . The truck is a 88 and has a 97 harness becuase the whole thing has been updated to except the engine and all the other newer stuff. The previous owner had it all done at Nissan and they must have taped it all up making it look like one harness.
