tmoore4512
Welcome friend! I will try to quickly answer your questions...as it is late and I should be in bed (0415 comes way to early.) First, the UCA's do not provide lift. They simply allow for the upper ball joint to be at an acceptable angle for cranking the torsion bars. Some guys have successfully used factory UCA's with no issues. I had to replace mine due to accelerated BJ wear. Shocks: No need to replace them with longer units, factory replacement shocks work just fine until you get into the (hard to find) Trail Master lift... or a SAS... You will simply change the UCA, preferably with a new ball joint. Many of us have covered this in various write ups. Try doing a search, or check out "The Garage" section... Here is a link to my front lift write up... http://www.torymoore.com/pathfinder/calminifront.html
