I posted this in the parts wanted section, but I do not think it will be viewed much.

I would like to get all the parts I need and get the truck fixed.

I need ball joints, struts boots bearings, lower control arm bushings and sway bar bushings. Where would you get good quality parts. Any to avoid?

Online is good. I am not hung up on Stock, no need for super duty. I am looking for quality replacement stuff.

If you found something that worked from someone you trust, please share. If you got junk or had trouble with someone, please let me know.

I found several places like Advance Auto and Just suspension. I have seen control arms and ball joints as low as 58.00, can they be usable for that price?

Thanks for looking

Also, consider getting factory Nissan parts from this guy, he knows the vehicles and has great prices.

For example, I'm about to do a timing belt change for some inlaws and didn't have time to order from him or I would have.

Autozone price for water pump=$70

Factorynissanparts.com=$87

My local stealership bastages=$137

I'll happily pay an extra $17 for the Nissan part, but no was in hell will I pay an extra $67.

Thanks for the response. I got the KYB struts and mounting kits including boots, stabilized links, lower control arms and ball joints and bushings and new alignment bolts for -400.00 from Just suspension.

I got the driveshafts from Advance Auto parts for 127.00 for the pair including tax.

I will look them over before instaling and post if they look good.

  • 1 month later...

I got the front end parts from Just Suspension, they were correct, and inexpensive. I will buy from them again.

I got the CV joints from Advance Auto, they were correct, stunningly quick, and inexpensive, I will buy from them again.

I had them installed by a shop in Buffalo MN. named Buffalo Transmission.

They did a great job; they had parts replaced and the alignment done in two days, including having to get a special bolt from Nissan to replace a failed one. I had the differentials and transfer case fluid changed also.

I am trying to go thru some of the things I think should be done to my "new" (140,000 miles owned it for 2 months) truck.

Since the front suspension is so much tighter and stable, I need to take care of the rear suspension. Buffalo Transmission owner; Jeff, showed me minor rear suspension issues.

Does anyone know what all the little bits attached to the rear suspension are for? The links on the rear of the truck seem to have little weights with small pins or rods. I am guessing some type of dampener? If anyone can direct me to a quick education on the rear suspension of a 2002 LE, it would help me.
