Guest fefe2004
Hi to all, should 31 x 11.50 (yes not 10.50) tires fit into a 1996 SE Pathfinder? Thanks, Fernando
Mknabb335
I have 31x10.50 bfgs stock.... They rub when turned all the way... I'd say lift it or do some major trimming. BTW what tire is that?
Guest fefe2004
They are Goodyear Wranglers AT. I bought a used pickup and it came with these tires. I didn't kown that size existed. At present they are in my dad's 1995 Pathfidner, no rubbing at all. I'll have to try in my 1996 to see how it goes. Fernando
kmgar99
i know on my 1997 they wont fit using the stock rims due to the lower spring perch on the strut getting in the way....
nick1716
i just put some wildcountry txr 31x10.50 on my 96 xe and they rub pretty bad in the front when turned...

big_johnson
yep. We'll work with your example, 235/75R15 the first number, 235, is the tire's width in mm. There are 25.4 mm in one inch. So, 235 / 25.4 = 9.25 inches in width. The second number is the aspect ratio (ratio of sidewall height to width). In this case, the sidewall is 75% as tall as the tire is wide. So, 235 x .75 = 176.25 Multiply this by two (since there is a sidewall on either side of the rim). 176.25 x 2 = 352.5 mm total sidewall height Then figure out the rim's diameter in mm. 15 x 25.4 = 381 mm 381 + 352.5 = 733.5 mm is the total tire height 733.5 / 25.4 = 28.88 inches in total tire height

Guest tobwco
Here is a graph for a quick refrence on figuring tire width & diameter. Seems to cover most sizes. http://www.toyo.com/tires/tire_specsheet.cfm?id=
rosspbig
31s should fit but as said before they may rub a little.
