tranny cooler

would i be in trouble if i got to big of a cooler or is bigger better, i saw one for $33 26,000 gvw is that too much? :bow:

So I looked around the forum (which i promise i will start doing before posting), and i found out that bigger is better. but if you know somthing i don't let me know i just don't want to go too big.

Bigger is better. I have two 11x7.5x.5 tranny coolers installed on mine from a couple of junkyard Ford Exploders with the tow package. Cost me all of $5 each and ten minutes to get from the junkyard. Then, $5 worth of fuel hose, hose clamps, zipties and a bit of rubber (for spacing the coolers off the radiator) later, and I had dual coolers running just fine.

quick question does it matter wether the inlet and out on the cooler are on the same sides like this one tranny cool. or should it be where the inlet and out let are on the bottom on different sides.

Doesn't matter. The tranny fluid will flow through it no matter which way you mount it.
