findmypath
HI guys, For a while now I have been noticing noise coming from the front suspension. It's quite evident inside the car and I noticed that the noise happens when there are irregularities in the road or at low speeds when there are pothols that cause the car to sway from side to side. The noise is like a gentle clunk clunk noise. It like a hollow clunky sound (not sure if that makes any sense). On top of that I recently noticed like a rubbing noise durinng slow speeds....it sounds like something is rubbing on the tire...but I checked and there is nothing rubbing. Anyone have similar issues? Any ideas on what this can be? Thanks. '03 Pathfinder.

adamzan
Tension/compression rod bushings worn? (the rod that connects the lower arm to the frame at the back) He has an 03 lol. I would check swaybar links and bushings, struts, strut mounts, and ball joints. They seem to be the most common items to clunk on an r50.
