I bet the first time they kinda pushed the new RMS in without dropping the oil pan and it didn't mate perfectly.

 

Having just completed this job (and still leaking btw) I dont undrestand how they could possibly do it without dropping the oil pan.

Having just completed this job (and still leaking btw) I dont undrestand how they could possibly do it without dropping the oil pan.

 

How long did it take you? Any major pitfalls or advice? What resources did you use for instruction? Or did you just wing it and do what obviously needed to be done?

 

I'm seeing a little oil weeping back there and am starting to think about this repair myself.
