Later R50 headlights on an early R50

I found some sweet headlights that fit 00-04 pathys but seeing as how I own a 97... I want to know if they are interchangeable. They are still R50s, so I am guessing it'll be alright, but I wanted to double check. Are the sizes different? Will these later R50 headlights fit my early R50? Thanks for your help!

I'd guess no but I'm not sure. They restyled the front clip and there are material differences.

I believe you would have to change out the whole front clip also. When i look at the front of earlier R50's and later R50's i notice slight differences between them.

I think you might have to modify the front fender where it meet the headlight and the front grill

The front clip change was made on the 99.5 model.

Hey thanks for the fast responses! What do you mean by the "front clip"? Can someone please put up a picture pointing that out?

The front clip indicates the body section in front of the doors (fenders, bumper, and grill).

Pretty sure you would have to replace the hood as well.

Really? Blast... thats definitely NOT worth doing just for some headlights..

it would never work unless you wanted to spend few Gs on a hole new front end cause the fenders and hood and grill are all differnt from the older r50s even though they look really simular they really arnt.
