BigDaddyChris.com
I noticed today the sticker on the door says the stock tire size is 31x10.5x15 which is what I have. but why do the tires rub the fenders every now and then? I thought 31's were bigger than stock, till I saw the sticker.
nunya
your torsion bars are proably sagged out and need adjusted up or re-indexed. not too bad of a job edit: you got aftermarket wheels too right? might be in the offset/width of them as well, plus if you have any kink in the fender (visible or not) Edited May 4, 2011 by nunya
Precise1
^Pretty much it. T-bar sag and wheel offset are the main factors. B
BigDaddyChris.com
I'll post a side picture soon so you all can see how it sits. its lower in the back, and it seems to rub more back there. springs? and yep, pretty certain these arent the alloy option wheels! The_Magicians_Eye
You most likely have bad bushings. I noticed in one of my videos while wheeling that my axle moved front to back while under load. Also the wheel offset is a major factor too. I have 31s and I had to do a bunch of trimming up front and in the back to the flares to keep them from rubbing. Also if they are rubbing under extreme flex condition they might be rubbing on the top of the fender well. Mine do.
Slick
as above ^^^ ...bad shocks and coils in the rear, sagging t-bars up front and back spacing are the major causes of rubbing with stock tires/wheels.
