Dim top row brake lights?

So, as i noticed when i was backing up, the reflection of teh top row of brake lights are dim..so i put a rock on the brake pedal and checked..my bottom brake lights are bright, but my top row is dim.. is there anyway to make them brighter?

There's a writeup somewhere (by 88pathoffroad) for switchig te lED bars out for brighter GM (s10 Blazer I belive) ones. They are naturally kinda dim, depending on the angle you look at em.

known problem, they aren't exactly bright from the factory. It's best to just swap the strips out for something else, I believe a certain minivan will work, but do a search. you'll find it.
