Rear spring selection

Recommended Posts

I am doing a complete rebuild on my 95 pathy and for the rearend I have constructed a long arm triangulated 4-link I have moved the axle about 2" back and I am fitting it with 35" tires. I want to find a spring that is compressible to about 12" and expands to about 25". The axle has that much available travel and flex. I have heard old bronco springs work for this kind of thing. The other issue is establishing what spring rate is appropriate for the pathfinder. Any ideas
