So I'm doing the body work to the truck finally and I've got a few q's for someone who may have removed these before.

 

First is this:

 

 

How do you remove that plastic piece? I tried prying at it but didn't want to break it...

 

Then there is this, should I attempt removing the window myself or should I just pay the $75 the glass place said they would charge to remove it and reinstall when the work is done?

I know the second picture, you can remove the plastic piece fairly easily but its got 3 white plastic snapin style mounting things. Those Break super easy so be very careful.

Removing the plastic rearward of the window is just prying daintily, as said they are plastic clips that break a bit easy, window removal- I'd personally practice on a parts truck and if you get it out in one piece, your ready to tackle the one in the driver truck without worries of the results!

 

As for the handle trim piece, pop the interior trim back in that area and see if there's mounting hardware inside, if not odds are it just needs more pressure as well.

 

Yo have parts trucks right? Practice on them!

while at the j/y today i pried on one of those handle trim pieces, it's bolted on through the body. Remove the interior trim in that area and you should be able to see it.
