Mauitrailguy
The other day I changed a tie rod due to the part the castle nut goes on was destroyed due to a hammer that came out of nowhere (whoops) While doing this i noticed the steering system, particularly the tie rods and connecting hardware are small and do not seem very durable. Any one have any cheap/easy upgrades or things they have done?

sewebster
I think the standard is the so-called "hoo-haa" centrelink, avaliable at http://www.grassroots4x4.com/ Idler arm brace is another popular upgrade.
Mauitrailguy
I was thinking about that idler arm brace... I kinda wanted to beef up the whole system though.
