Desert89 Posted February 18, 2011 Share Posted February 18, 2011 I've found a good group for trail riding with in the Phoenix, AZ area. www.adventureoffroadclub.com They alternate between Hikes and trail runs. And its all free. Just meet up and head off as a group. I will be participating in the run next week. Table Mesa East to Great Western Trail Adventure February 26, 2011 AORC Trail Rating: 2.5 out of 5 (Off Road) From I-17 we take Table Mesa Road heading east, crossing through several canyons and following the Aqua Fria River. The trail T's into the Great Western Trail, which we will take north. The trail gradually turns back to I-17 and exits at Bloody Basin Road. This is high desert and very scenic.
