Visited a parts site for a new thermostat, and they listed several different temperatures.

170, 180 and then 205 degrees.

 

Not sure which is the factory temperature. Is it 205 degrees? Every car I've changed a thermostat in, it's been the hotter one if there are multiple listed.

Looks like I'll be getting the 180 then. :)

 

What kind of issues would the 205 degree thermostat cause? overheating?
