Exhaust gasket

I'm trying to find a part number for the exhaust gasket that's right behind the y pipe that connects to the pipe before the cat converter. If you can find the aftermarket gasket, it'd be even better.

Yeah it's the 20711. My gasket blew and sounds like arse.

 

edit: Called the local auto stores and they don't seem to have it. Then I remembered I had the gaskets that came with my headers and found an extra. FTW.

this is what I got using FAST:

Part number 2069231G02 was superseded by part number 206921P100.

 

I went thru a lot of aftermarket gaskets in my 87 hardbody, the only one's that actually lasted were the OEM one's. I wouldn't use any other type.

Lol, I spent an entire day driving around my town to exhaust shops looking for that gasket. It was for a transmission job and I didn't have time to wait for mail. The gasket ended up being one that was really similar, but I had to wallow out the hole a bit.

the dealer should have had that gasket in stock as I'm sure it fits other vehicles as well

just ask a local exhaust shop to make one.. it's very easy and cheap.

watch out for sticker shock if you have to get it from the dealer

I ended up using another gasket for a different vehicle application. I found two gaskets with different diameter holes that fit. One being smaller and the other being larger. None of the parts store carried the gasket I needed in stock. The parts guy let me in the back and we started looking for a close match. I'll post up the part numbers and pictures later.

the OEM gasket may cost more but I guaranty it will last longer than any aftermarket one

Suprisingly I've reused the original stock gasket quite a few times and it held until recently
