I posted this in my ride topic, but this should be here too. ENJOY! The results are VERY good.

I did what we call here in Chile "Barra Rusa" or "Russian Centerlink" (no idea why the name)

You need to modify 3 things (VERY EASY):

1) The centerlink. Get your old centerlink and change the ends for 5010 high friction bronze bushings with greasers (US$50 the whole job). Make the bushings to fit a bolt a little bit bigger than the biggest part of the old end.

Here's an example of the result (this one has no bushing, just the hole, it works too but with bushings it last forever).

It's very similar to grassroots modification.

2) The Pitman arm and the Auxiliar Arm.

You have to take them out, make a little arm on it to re-inforce and re-drill the holes to a bigger bolt size (same as centerlink).

They should look like this.

3) Make an arm brace. Everybody knows this one.

Then, you assemble everything and ta-da!!!

END RESULT:

NOTE: This pics are not mine, but I did the EXACT same job. I took pics with my mobile phone and they sucked hahaha.

The result is AMAZING and I strongly recommend to put a steering stabilizer. I'm going to do it now because the steering is very responsive.

IF YOU STILL CAN'T SEE THE PICS, GO HERE. THE PARTS IN BLUE ARE THE ONES.
